in FBLG. That's a pretty good week's worth.

Studs: Pedro Alvarez (RMH) hit 2 solo homers, drove in 3 and scored 3 runs — and stole a base against Yadier Molina!?! Carlos Gonzalez (RMH) had a 2-run homer and a 2-RBI triple. Charlie Blackmon (FA) went 6 for 6 with a homer, 3 doubles, 4 runs and 5 RBIs. He WAS caught stealing, though, so he's still human. Juan Nicasio (FA) struck out 6 and allowed 1 run in a 7-inning win. Like Blackmon, he's available on the waiver wire! 

Duds: Hyun-jin Ryu (FF) posted an ugly minus-5 by allowing 6 earned runs and striking out 2 in a 2-inning loss. Hanley Ramirez (PYB) singled twice but committed an error and was caught stealing. Speaking of getting caught stealing, Billy Hamilton (DZ) finally made his mark on the scoring sheet — getting thrown out stealing as a pinch runner. Yadier Molina (AL) has been eliminated from MVP contention after going 0 for 4 with a throwing error. Chris Owings (RR) singled but committed an error.

With 21 points already, Angel Pagan has been a monster
for Ryan's Rangers.

Duds: Daniel Murphy (Misfits) singled and scored, but he also committed 2 errors. Wilin Rosario (Misfits) singled and made an error.

Studs: It was a great day to be unowned or on a FLBG bench! Aaron Harang took a no-hitter into the seventh for the Braves. Emilio Bonifacio went 5 for 7 for the Cubs (who, naturally, lost anyway). Tim Hudson (AL bench) got thw win and struck out 7 in 7.2 scoreless innings. Dan Haren (RMH) struck out 6 and allowed 1 unearned run in a 6-inning win. Gio Gonzalez (RR) hit a solo homer, struck out 6 and allowed 1 run in a 6-inning win. Tony Cingrani (RR) struck out 9 in 7 scoreless innings. 

Duds: Also known as crappy-shortstop day. Starlin Castro (Tanana) went 0 for 6 with an error. Jhonny Peralta (Fish) went 0 for 3 with an error.

Pre-draft rule reminders

Just wanted to clarify a few rules before the draft:

• Every player on a team's 40-man roster is eligible to be drafted. After the draft, only players on the 25-man roster are eligible to be added. 
• A reminder that players are eligible to be stolen off your bench if they are not activated for a month. This includes any players on your bench, even if you draft a minor leaguer.
• Moves will be free until first pitch tomorrow night. If you draft a player on the disabled list, you have until then to sign his roster replacement.
• Players added to the eligibility pool midweek are not eligible to be added until the following Monday. This includes players traded into the NL, signed as free agents or brought up from the minors. These players will NOT be eligible to be injury replacements until they go through waivers.
• Check the FBLG rulebook or ask the Commishes for any other rule clarifications.

Scoring Odds and Ends

Couple notes about some scoring odds and ends

• Points from the Dodgers-Dbacks games this weekend will be counted toward individual and team totals, but not toward first week head-to-head totals. Once the draft is over, we'll assign those points to the players as "Entering Week" points.
• The Dodgers and Padres play next Sunday night to "open" the season, but don't play Monday. The Sunday game will go in the Monday column of the opening week scoresheet and will count toward the opening week head-to-head game.
• We never followed up about the potential change to scoring for blown saves. We've decided not to change the rule.... blown saves will not be penalized beyond the runs allowed/loss that may occur.
