Week 15: Friday's report

Stephen Strasburg is unable to wipe away the
stench of failure.

STUDS: Patrick Corbin (LGM) allowed 1 run and struck out 10 in a 6.2-inning win. Carlos Beltran (Misfits) drove in a run, scored and was a homer shy of the cycle. Buster Posey (Muumuu) singled, doubled and had 5 RBIs.

DUDS: Stephen Strasburg (Rookies) allowed 7 runs and struck out 2 in a 2-inning loss. Miguel Montero (Fish) went 0 for 3 with an error.

TRANSACTIONS: Misfits activated SS Troy Tulowitzki and released Jordy Mercer. Manwaring a Muumuu activated 3B Jedd Gyorko and moved Eric Chavez to the bench, giving the Muumuu crew the extremely rare three-players-at-one-position-in-one-week honor. Manwaring a Muumuu also placed a conditional DL move on OF Carl Crawford.

NOTE: The White Sox-Phillies game was rained out and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday.
