Week 2: Friday Roundup

Not even Todd Frazier can believe that Todd Frazier made contact 3 times in 1 game. 

STUDS: Todd Frazier (BM) homered twice, singled and walked and the Mets — the METS! — improved to 11-1. Luke Weaver (SG) fanned 7 and allowed 2 runs in a 6-inning win.

DUDS: Yu Darvish (FF) allowed 4 runs and made an error while striking out 4 in a 4.2-inning loss. Hunter Pence (AL bench) went 0 for 4 with 3 Ks. Evan Longoria (M) said "hold my beer" and matched Pence's production with an error tacked on. Chris Iannetta (FDD) went 0 for 4 with 3 Ks.

RICH HATES SECOND BASEMEN: Yesterday, it was D.J. LeMahieu. Today, Daniel Descalso — batting cleanup because Torey Lovullo apparently has brain damage — homered, singled and drove in 4. Quick, someone pick up Kolten Wong because he's hitting for the cycle tomorrow.

WHAT WOULD TOM EMANSKI SAY? We're not sure how many runs are supposed to score on a sacrifice fly, but it's almost certainly not 3.
