Spring training injury roundup: 10 days to go

First it was Jhonny Peralta. Then it was Corey Seager, Asdrubal Cabrera and Jean Segura. With the shortage of shortstops in the National League, don't be surprised to see the management of the Fresh Fish select Adeiny Hechavarria with the first pick of the 2016 FBLG draft.

Arizona: OF Yasmany Tomas (knee) is expected to be ready for opening day. 2B/SS Jean Segura (knee) is day to day.

Atlanta: C Tyler Flowers (hamstring) is expected to be ready for opening day. SP Manny Banuelos (elbow) is aiming to make his season debut April 12. RP Jason Grilli (achilles) might be ready for opening day. SP Michael Foltynewicz (rib) might be ready in April.

Chicago: OF Matt Szczur (ribs) might be ready for opening day.

Cincinnati: SP Jon Moscot (back) might be ready for opening day. SP Michael Lorenzen (elbow) is out indefinitely. C Devin Mesoraco (hip) is expected to be ready for opening day. SP Keyvious Sampson (triceps) is day to day. OF Billy Hamilton (shoulder) might be ready for opening day. SP John Lamb (back) might be ready by mid-April. SP Homer Bailey (TJ surgery) might be ready in May. SS Zack Cozart (knee) is expected to be ready for opening day.

Colorado: IF Daniel Descalso (hand) might be back by May. SP Tyler Anderson (ribs) might be back by May. OF Gerardo Parra (heel) is day to day. SP Chris Rusin (finger) might be ready for opening day. RP Adam Ottavino (TJ surgery) might be back by midseason.

Los Angeles: SS Corey Seager (knee) might be ready for opening day. SP Alex Wood (forearm) is expected to be ready for opening day. SP Brett Anderson (back) might be back by late June SP Frankie Montas (ribs) might by ready by June. SP Brandon McCarthy (TJ surgery) might be back by midseason. SP Hyun-Jin Ryu (shoulder) might be ready in May. 3B Justin Turner (knee) is expected to be ready for opening day.
