This week in FBLG, we take a look at the guys who just aren't getting the job done. They'll need to step up for their FBLG teams to make noise in the postseason, which is only 5 weeks away. We'll call these players the "Get Your Shit Together" guys.
1. Manwaring a Muumuu (2,595 points, 11-3, last week 1): The Muumuu crew has held first place since Week 4, and it's going to take a big charge from someone to bump them off before the playoffs. GYST guy: Aramis Ramirez has been hurt, he's been sitting out once a week, he's been striking out more and he's been a singles hitter. And he just might lose his job to Jedd Gyorko.
2. Misfits (2,385 points, 10-4, last week 2): Reid's team solidified its hold on second place and sits in the driver's seat in the race for a first-round bye in the playoffs. GYST guy: Don't be fooled by the occasional big performance from Michael Young. He's hitting .284, but he has only 6 homers and 24 RBIs. Pretty pedestrian numbers for a top/middle-of-the-order guy.

Bill's team could use some of this stuff. |
3. Lawyers, Guns & Money (2,336 points, 8-6, last week 4): Matt's team has made a big push in recent weeks and looks strong with a rotation that includes Lance Lynn, Hyun-jin Ryu and Patrick Corbin. GYST guy: Anthony Rizzo has been in hibernation since joining LGM, including a mediocre 22 points in the past 2 weeks. Bring back Ike Davis!
4. Testosteraun Braun (2,328 points, 8-6, last week 3): The Braunies have been slipping recently, and they're in danger of dropping to fifth place if their performance doesn't improve. GYST guy: Hunter Pence, like the rest of the Giants, has been awful recently, posting 7 zeroes in the past 2 weeks. That's a huge drop for one of FBLG's top early-season performers.
5. Arbitration Losers (2,312 points, 6-8, last week 5): Tim's bunch had a strong week, but it wasn't enough in a 4-point loss to the Rookies. And now Matt Kemp is injured again. GYST guy: Brandon Crawford was looking like a late-round gem. After scoring 2 points in the past 2 weeks, Crawford is hitting .259 and not helping the Arbitration Losers at all.
6. Going Going Gonzo (2,257 points, 5-9, last week 6): A rough week for Jon's team leaves an uphill climb for the remainder of the season. At least Dan Uggla is hitting more. GYST guy: It's easy to pick on B.J. Upton, but it's been obvious for a while that this won't be his year. Instead, we wonder what the heck happened to Ian Kennedy. If last season (15-12, 4.02) was a down year after he won 21 games in 2011, what is this (3-4, 5.16)?
7. Pitch You Blockhead (2,195 points, 9-5, last week 7): Shin-Soo Choo and Cole Hamels have been benched, and Yasmani Grandal is done for the season. It's not a happy time for Scott's crew. GYST guy: By posting a minus-3 last week and 3 this week, Pablo Sandoval has been just as effective as an empty space at third base (albeit a very large space). Sandoval is hitting .259 with 8 homers — and a .298 on-base percentage.
8. Rookies (2,176 points, 6-8, last week 8): With the Nationals finally hitting, it's a scary time to face Henry's 1-2 punch of Stephen Strasburg and Gio Gonzalez. But is it too late? GYST guy: Jason Heyward missed a lot of time with appendicitis, but he hasn't exactly been playing at an all-star level since he returned. Heyward, tabbed by many to have a breakout season, is hitting .228 with 7 homers in 62 games.
9. Silver State Sagebrushers (2,016 points, 4-10, last week 9): It might be a lost season, with great performances from Clayton Kershaw and David Wright but inconsistency from everyone else. GYST guy: At the end of April, Justin Upton was hitting .298 with 12 homers and 19 RBIs. He's currently hitting .243 with 15 homers and 39 RBIs. So much for Atlanta's vaunted "Up, Up and a Hey" outfield.
10. Fresh Fish (1,991 points, 3-11, last week 10): Ryan Howard might be done for the season, and Brandon League has lost his job. Team turmoil continues to struggle. GYST guy: The cleanup spot for the Diamondbacks would seem to be a gold mine for points, and Miguel Montero has been a good run producer for years. But this year, he's hitting .227 with 6 homers and 31 RBIs.
