STUDS: Eric Stults (Braun) singled twice and allowed 1 run while striking out 5 in a complete-game win. Ricky Nolasco (Arbitration) doubled, singled, scored, drove in a run and allowed 1 run while striking out 5 in a 7-inning win. Justin Upton (SSS) homered, doubled twice, drove in 2 and scored 3 runs. Adam Wainwright (Misfits) allowed 1 run and struck out 9 in a 7-inning win. Matt Carpenter (PYB) had 2 doubles, a single, 3 runs and 3 RBIs. Marlon Byrd (Misfits) singled, scored twice and hit a grand slam.

DUDS: The Reds. Seriously. They got shut out by Wily Peralta. Miguel Montero (Fish) went 0 for 3 with an error.

TRANSACTIONS: Testosteraun Braun traded 3B Eric Chavez to Manwaring a Muumuu for OF Ben Revere. Both players immediately entered their new teams' lineups. Chavez promptly got hurt, which makes him the perfect Muumuu third baseman. Welcome to the club, Eric!
