1. Manwaring a Muumuu (3,815 points): The Muumuu crew has a 64-point lead over PYB in their 2-week semifinal battle. The offense is showing consistency, with all but one position player reaching double digits for the week. Will minor injuries to Domonic Brown and Aaron Hill damage the team's title hopes?
2. Misfits (3,583 points): Despite a 200-point week, Reid's team trails and has some work to do to overcome the Arbitration Losers in the semis. It will be up to the Misfits' veteran hitters to carry the load. How much will the loss of Tony Cingrani hurt the Misfits down the stretch?
3. Arbitration Losers (3,519 points): Tim's crew just keeps thundering along behind strong efforts from Jose Fernandez and Martin Prado week after week. It sure looks like the duel with the Misfits will go down to the final day. Will Brandon Crawford and Chase Headley contribute to or hinder a championship run?

The 5 owners of our 4 semifinalists are locked in a race for the championship. |
4. Lawyers, Guns & Money (3,475 points): LGM is fading at the wrong time. A bad day for Patrick Corbin on the week's final day contributed to a close loss to the Braunies. The Juan Francisco experiment sure looks like a failure, as the Milwaukee first baseman posted a zero for the week. Where's Ike Davis when you need him?
5. Testosteraun Braun (3,377 points): Junior Lake comes up big in his first week on a FBLG roster as the Braunies dump LGM in the first week of consolation games. How long will Jeff Mathis post zeros before Bill looks for a new catcher?
6. Pitch You Blockhead (3,241 points): Should we rename Scott's team Pirate You Blockhead? Russell Martin, Jordy Mercer, Gerrit Cole and the injured Starling Marte combined for only 20 points as PYB dug a hole against the Muumuu crew. Matt Carpenter was the team's standout again. When is Carlos Gonzalez due back?
7. Going Going Gonzo (3,227 points): Gonzo posted 198 points in a consolation-round victory behind 38 points from Jeff Samardzija. Is Jean Segura hitting a rookie wall?
8. Rookies (3,116 points): The week was a disaster for Henry's team. Jason Heyward got hit in the face and went on the DL, Carlos Gomez crashed into a wall and missed half the week, Brandon Beachy is having arm trouble again and went on the DL, and Bobby Parnell remained on the DL. Has John Buck lost his starting job?
9. Silver State Sagebrushers (3,072 points): The SS SSS has crashed into a reef and is taking on water. The No. 1 pick in the 2014 FBLG draft appears to be in reach. Will Starlin Castro even finish the season in the majors?
10. Fresh Fish (2,979 points): With all those Cincinnati players, the Red Snappers score — and post zeros — in bunches. At least Giancarlo Stanton is doing his part to help the Snappers avoid a first-to-worst season. What the heck happened to Garrett Jones this year?
