Jon Niese did it all for the Mets. That kinda makes up for
the loss of Matt Harvey, right?  

STUDS: Jon Niese (Misfits) had a 3-run double, scored and struck out 5 in a complete-game shutout. Aramis Ramirez (Muumuu) homered, doubled, singled twice and drove in 4. Alfonso Soriano (Rookies) hit a 3-run homer and a solo homer. Travis Wood (PYB) singled, scored, allowed 1 unearned run and struck out 6 in a 7-inning win. Gerardo Parra (AL) had a 3-run homer and a 2-run single. Martin Prado (AL) doubled, singled, drove in 3 and scored 2 runs. Pedro Alvarez (LGM) had a solo homer, a double and 2 singles.

DUD: A.J. Ellis (SSS) went 0 for 3 with an error.

NOTE: Mets OF Marlon Byrd and C John Buck were traded to Pittsburgh.

TRANSACTIONS: Fresh Fish activate C Miguel Montero from the DL and move Devin Mesoraco to the bench.
