Two-and-a-half weeks in the season and we're headed to the closest possible finish in FBLG history. The Triple-A's hold a 9-point overall lead over both the Goatwhisperers and Losers, who after 24 weeks are tied. Holliday Road (86 points back) and the Ubaldo Spots (97) have their work cut out for them. A furious late charge has left the Misfits 127 points back and still in the run to finish in the money.
The Losers and Holliday Road won the first games of the the championship and third-place series.
The winner of this week's VC Appraisers-Chico's Chuggers matchup will clinch one spot in the consolation final. The Misfits are virtually assured of gaining the other spot.
