Notes: The numbers on this list are not very impressive. But the position is deeper than it looks because so many players are battling back from injury. Sandoval's numbers would have been closer to Ramirez's if he hadn't missed six weeks with a broken hand. The same could be said for Wright, Zimmerman and Hanley Ramirez, whose name didn't even make the Top 10. Others not to make the list because of injury-shortened seasons include David Freese, Scott Rolen and Juan Uribe.
