STUDS: Jorge De La Rosa (Silver State Sagebrushers) struck out 7 in 6 scoreless innings. Paul Maholm (Rookies) struck out 7 in 7.2 innings and hasn't allowed a run in 3 starts. He also had a hit and a run. Josh Beckett (Manwaring a Muumuu) was a hard-luck loser, striking out 9 and allowing 1 run in 8.1 innings.

DUDS: Ryan Zimmerman (Lawyers, Guns & Money) made another error and went hitless. Gio Gonzalez (Rookies) allowed 7 runs in 5 innings and took the loss. Jonathan Broxton (free agent) allowed 6 runs in 0.2 inning, costing Mat Latos (Manwaring a Muumuu) a victory and Aroldis Chapman (Arbitration Losers) a save opportunity.

TRANSACTION: Fresh Fish placed fresh-off-the-disabled-list OF Cody Ross in the lineup and moved OF Cameron Maybin to the bench.
