STUDS: Clayton Kershaw (Silver State Sagebrushers) scored a run and picked up the win while striking out 11 in 8.2 shutout innings. Homer Bailey (Fresh Fish) allowed 2 runs and struck out 10 in a 9-inning victory. Carlos Beltran (Misfits) homered, singled twice, drove in 4 and scored 2 runs. Carlos Gonzalez (Pitch You Blockhead) went 5 for 5 with 2 homers and a double, drove in 3 runs and scored 3 times.
DUDS: Angel Pagan (Arbitration Losers) went 0 for 4 with 2 strikeouts and an error. Nick Hundley (Pitch You Blockhead) went 0 for 2 with a strikeout and committed an error.
NOTES: Despite a previous blog post and changes to the "best available" document, OF Carlos Quentin has not been released. He's sitting on Lawyers, Guns & Money's bench, right next to Ike Davis.
