Giancarlo Stanton (FF) made an error but made up for it by hitting the game-winning grand slam, singling twice, scoring twice and driving in 5. Troy Tulowitzki (RMH) homered, doubled, singled, drove in 5 and scored twice. Tyson Ross (DZ) struck out 9 and got the win in 8 shutout innings. Gio Gonzalez (RR) allowed 1 run and struck out 7 in a 7-inning win.
Duds: Matt Carpenter (Tanana) went 0 for 3 with 2 errors. Paul Goldschmidt (Rookies) went 0 for 4 with 3 Ks and was caught stealing. Jean Segura (AL) went 1 for 5 but was caught stealing and made an error. Yadier Molina (AL) went 1 for 4 with an error.
