Mat Latos (RMH) struck out 5 and allowed 1 run in a 7-inning win. Matt Adams (RR) hit a 2-run homer, stole a base, singled and scored twice. Carlos Gomez (RR) tripled, singled twice, stole a base, drove in a run and scored.
Duds: The braintrust at Danger Zaun sure knows how to pick 'em. Zack Wheeler (DZ) lasted all of 2 innings, striking out 4 and allowing 6 runs in a loss. Stephen Strasburg (DZ) allowed 7 runs in a 4.2-inning loss. Their contributions mean DZ has gotten zero combined points out of 4 starts this week.
Transaction: Misfits place SS Adeiny Hechavarria on the disabled list and activate Everth Cabrera just in time for the Padres to get no-hit. Perfect timing!
