Studs: The Rockies put up 13 runs at Coors Field, so you know there will be some Colorado Studs. Corey Dickerson (DZ) went 4 for 4 with a triple, a double, 3 runs and 3 RBIs. Carlos Gonzalez (RMH) was a triple short of the cycle, drove in 2 and scored 3 runs. Mat Latos (RMH) singled, scored, fanned 5 and allowed 3 runs in a 7.2-inning win. Doug Fister (Rookies) struck out 7 and allowed an unearned run in a 7.1-inning win. Adam LaRoche (PYB) blasted a 2-run homer and a solo homer. Ben Revere (PYB) went 4 for 5 with a triple, a steal and 2 runs. Chase Utley (Tanana) hit a 3-run homer, singled and scored twice. Pablo Sandoval (AL) homered, singled twice, drove in 3 and scored twice.
Duds: Jake Arrieta (AL) felt the pain of Coors Field, allowing 9 runs on 13 hits in a 5-inning loss. Charlie Blackmon (Misfits) went 0 for 3 with 2 Ks and was caught stealing. Trevor Rosenthal (PYB) pitched 1 inning, allowed 1 run and took the loss.
