Studs: Joey Votto (R21) homered, singled twice and scored 3 runs in the first game of a doubleheader. He singled twice in the second game. He reached base in 9 of his 10 plate appearances. Jose Fernandez (R21) had an RBI double and scored; on the mound, he struck out 11 and allowed 3 runs in a 7-inning win. Yadier Molina (FF) tripled, singled twice and drove in 3. Mike Bolsinger (Bryce) allowed an unearned run and struck out 4 in a 7-inning win. Todd Frazier (Bryce) doubled, singled twice, drove in 2 and scored twice. Adam Lind (Rookies) went 4 for 5 with a homer, a double and 4 RBIs.
Duds: Christian Yelich (CM) went 0 for 3 and was caught stealing. Aroldis Chapman (SE) allowed a run and took the loss while fanning 2 in 1 inning. Kelly Johnson (PYB) went 1 for 4 with an error.
