Playoffs, Week 6: Monday's Roundup

No-hitter, schmo-hitter. The most entertaining part of this game was Cowboy Joe tossing Crazy Joe.
Studs: Kyle Hendricks (LGM) was throwing a no-hitter until he allowed a solo homer to lead off the 9th. He finished with 7 Ks and 1 run allowed in an 8-inning win. Carlos Gonzalez (LGM) went 4 for 5 with 3 doubles, 3 RBIs and 2 runs. Brandon Drury (LGM) went 4 for 5 with a homer, a double and 3 runs. Jeremy Hellickson (LY) scored a run an allowed only an unearned run while fanning 6 in a 6.1-inning win. Freddie Freeman (R21) went 3 for 4 with a double, an RBI and 3 runs.

Duds: Gerrit Cole (GH) allowed 5 runs in a 2-inning loss. He did strike out 3 and get a hit, though. Jose Peraza (HE) went 0 for 4 with an error. Jean Segura (HE) also went 0 for 4 with an error, which is a pretty sad result for a guy who played in a 12-9 game. Jedd Gyorko (AL) went 0 for 2 with an error.
