Max Fried (R) allowed 2 runs and struck out 6 in a 6-inning win. Willson Contreras (LCL) had 2 homers, 5 RBIs and a walk. Brian Dozier (LCL) had 2 homers, a double and 4 RBIs. Bryan Reynolds (AL) had a homer, 2 singles, 3 runs and 3 RBIs. Juan Soto (WLB) had 3 singles, 2 walks, 2 steals, 2 runs and an RBI. Ryan Braun (M) homered, doubled, walked and drove in 3. Chris Taylor (YA bench) had 2 homers, a double, 3 runs and 4 RBIs. Max Scherzer (YA) - pitching with a freshly broken nose - struck out 10 in 7 shutout innings for the win.
DUDS: Steven Matz (LCL) allowed 5 runs and struck out 2 in a 5-inning loss.
