Jose Quintana (WLB) struck out 14 (!!) and allowed 1 run in a 6-inning no-decision. JT Realmuto (PM) homered, doubled, walked, scored twice and drove in 2. Madison Bumgarner (AL) struck out 9 and allowed 1 run in a 7-inning win. Will Smith (M) homered twice, walked, scored 3 runs and drove in 3. AJ Pollock (M) had 3 doubles and 2 runs. Jack Flaherty (M) tossed 7 shutout innings with 7 strikeouts for the win. Nick Ahmed (LCL) was a double shy of a cycle and drove in 3.
DUDS: Zack Wheeler (R) allowed 5 runs and struck out 2 in a 5-inning loss. Shane Greene (R) allowed 2 runs in 0.1 innings. Ian Happ (PM) erred. Paul DeJong (PM) walked and was caught stealing. Josh Hader (LCL) allowed 1 run in 0.1 innings to blow the save.
