Final analysis: Arik picked Jose Reyes with hopes of ranking first among shortstop. But Reyes got off to a slow start then spent most of the season on the DL. The result was the Goatwhisperers finished eighth at shortstop. And Cole Hamles, the GG's top pitching pick, struggled for consistent results. The end result was a sixth-place finish. The Goatwhisperers did a good job of staying in the title hunt for much of the first half of the season. But they did a fast fade in August and September.
