TED LILLY, SP, DODGERS
Injury: Lilly will miss his next spring start because of lingering neck stiffness, putting his opening day in doubt. If Lilly can't go, Nathan Eovaldi is the No. 1 candidate to replace him.
LOGAN MORRISON, OF, MARLINS
Injury: Morrison has been bothered by a sore knee, putting opening day in doubt. Bryan Peterson and Austin Kearns figure to gain playing time if LoMo is out.
GIANCARLO STANTON, OF, MARLINS
Injury: Like LoMo, Stanton (formerly Mike) also has a sore knee, but is more likely to be ready than LoMo.
DAVID WRIGHT, 3B, METS
Injury: Wright has been sidelined by a torn abdominal muscle this spring. But he's back playing in games. As long as he has no setbacks, he should be fine for the opener.
ANDRES TORRES, OF, METS
Injury: Torres has been slowed by a calf injury and is said to be "touch and go" for being ready for the opener.
ADAM LAROCHE, 1B, NATIONALS
Injury: LaRoche has been slowed by an ankle injury, which he contends won't keep him from being ready for the season. But until he gets into spring games that's in doubt.
MIKE MORSE, OF, NATIONALS
Injury: Morse has been battling a sore shoulder. Throwing is more an issue than swinging the bat, leading some to speculate that he could play 1B, especially with Adam LaRoche and Chris Marrero battling injuries of their own.
