Homer Bailey (Fresh Fish) singled, scored, got the win and struck out 8 while allowing an unearned run in 8 innings. Brandon Phillips (Fresh Fish) homered, singled, drove in 6 and committed an error. Yovani Gallardo (Rookies) singled and got the win while striking out 4 in 8 shutout innings. Jason Heyward (Rookies) hit 2 solo homers. Carlos Gomez (Rookies) stole a base, tripled, singled twice, scored 2 runs and drove in 2.

DUDS: Brandon League (Fresh Fish) took the loss and allowed 4 runs while striking out 1 in 0.2 inning. Scott Feldman (Misfits) singled and took the loss while allowing 5 runs and striking out 2 in 6 innings.

TRANSACTIONS: Manwaring a Muumuu places 2B/3B Jedd Gyorko on the DL and acquires 2B/OF Alexi Amarista to replace him at 2B.
