STUDS: Jose Fernandez (AL) dominated again, striking out 8 in 7 shutout innings in a win against the Rockies. Martin Prado (AL) was a triple short of the cycle, drove in 3 and scored 3 runs. Gerardo Parra (AL) had 4 singles, a double and 3 RBIs. Jeff Samardzija (GGG) doubled and allowed 2 runs while striking out 7 in an 8-inning win. Darwin Barney (GGG) was a triple short of the cycle, drove in 2 and scored twice. Jordan Zimmermann (TB) allowed 2 runs and struck out 7 in a 7.2-inning victory.

DUDS: Jean Segura (GGG) went 1 for 4 with an error. Shin-Soo Choo (PYB) went 0 for 3 and was caught stealing. Francisco Liriano (Misfits) took the loss and allowed 4 runs in 4 innings with 3 strikeouts.
