Studs: Jedd Gyorko (AL) broke out in a big way, hitting a grand slam and a 2-run homer off Jose Fernandez, then tacking on a single. Neil Walker (PYB) homered, singled twice, scored twice and drove in 4. Madison Bumgarner (Misfits) struck out 8 and allowed 1 run in an 8-inning win. He also singled. Julio Teheran (RR) struck out 9 and allowed 1 run in an 8-inning no-decision. Chase Utley (Tanana) had 3 runs, 2 doubles, a single and a steal.
Duds: Brandon Belt (FF) broke his thumb when he was hit by a pitch, joining Rick's lengthy injured list. Justin Upton (Rookies), Jimmy Rollins (E-3) and Anthony Rendon (RR) each went 0 for 4 with an error.
