Week 7: Saturday's Roundup

Chris Owings, A.J. Pollock and Paul Goldschmidt combined
for 45 FBLG points against the Dodgers on Saturday.

Studs: Paul Goldschmidt (Rookies) homered twice, doubled twice, drove in 6 and scored 5 runs. Chris Owings (RR) was a single short of the cycle, drove in 2 and scored 4 runs. Martin Prado (PYB) doubled, singled twice, drove in 3 and scored. Cole Hamels (Tanana) fanned 10 and allowed 1 run in a 7-inning win. Tom Koehler (FF) got the win and struck out 7 in 7 shutout innings. 

Duds: It was a horrible day for big-name pitchers. Clayton Kershaw (FF) allowed 7 runs and took the loss in 1.2 innings. Homer Bailey (DZ) gave up 6 runs in a 3.2-inning loss. Gio Gonzalez (RR) allowed 5 runs in a 3-inning loss. Evan Gattis (Rookies) went 0 for 4 with an error.
