Daniel Murphy (Misfits) had a 3-run homer, a sac fly and 2 runs. Mike Minor (Tanana) got the win and fanned 6 in 6.2 shutout innings. Josh Beckett (E-3) singled and struck out 6 while allowing 1 unearned run in a 6.1-inning win. Marco Estrada (AL) struck out 8 and allowed 1 run in a 6-inning win.
Duds: One day after Cubs owners collected their treasure in a blowout win, the universe returned to normal. Starlin Castro (Tanana) went 0 for 6 with an error. Mike Olt (Rookies) walked and was caught stealing. Anthony Rizzo (RMH) went 0 for 3 with 3 walks and was caught stealing. Aroldis Chapman (DZ) gave up a homer to Chase Headley (can you imagine?) and took the loss.
