He struck out 6 and allowed 1 run in a 6.1-inning win. Jeff Samardzija (PYB) won his Oakland debut, striking out 5 and allowing 1 run in 7 innings. Matt Adams (RR) went 4 for 5 with a double, a steal, a run and an RBI.
Duds: Sergio Romo (Misfits) gave up a 2-run homer in 0.1 inning. Pedro Alvarez (RMH) committed his 18th error.
