Billy Hamilton (DZ) collected 2 singles, a double, a triple, 2 RBIs, a run and 2 steals. Jay Bruce (PYB) homered, doubled and drove in 4. Daniel Murphy (Misfits) had 2 doubles, 2 runs and 2 RBIs.
Duds: Hyun-Jin Ryu (FF) served up 7 runs in a 2.1-inning loss after being handed a 5-0 lead. Casey McGehee (FF) went 0 for 4 with 2 errors. Julio Teheran (RR) gave up 5 runs on 11 hits in a 3.1-inning loss. Addison Reed (Rookies) served up a game-losing 2-run tater in his 1 inning.
Note: The Nationals-Orioles game was rained out. It will be made up Aug. 4.
