Studs: It was a good day to bat in the middle of the Colorado lineup. Nolan Arenado (PYB) homered twice, doubled, singled and drove in 7. Carlos Gonzalez (LGM) was a homer short of a cycle, scored twice and drove in a run. Trevor Story (HE) tripled twice, singled, scored 3 runs and drove in a run. Domingo Santana (PYB) hit the game-winning 2-run homer, doubled and scored twice. John Lackey (PYB) had an RBI single and struck out 7 while allowing 2 runs in a 6.2-inning win. Jonathan Lucroy (FF) doubled, singled twice, drove in 2 and scored twice.
Duds: Trevor Rosenthal (HE) served up 2 runs and fanned 1 in a 0.2-inning loss. Welington Castillo (HE) went 0 for 4 with an error, but he did throw out a base-stealer.
