Playoffs, Week 2: Thursday's Roundup

Days like Kris Bryant had yesterday will just make it that much sadder when the Cubs choke in the postseason.

Studs: Kris Bryant (R21) was 5-for-5 with 2 homers, a double, 4 runs and 5 RBIs. Shame on the middle of the Cubs order for not getting Kris the coveted 5 5 5 5 line. 5 4 5 5 just doesn't have the same ring. Justin Turner (Misfits) went Overdrive on the Phillies, homering, doubling and driving in 3. Madison Bumgarner (AL) hit a 2-run homer and struck out 6 in 5 innings, allowing 4 runs in a win. Dan Straily (Rookies) outdueled Jose Fernandez, allowing 2 runs and striking out 7 in a 6-inning win.

Duds: Jacob deGrom (PYB) was roughed up by the Giants, allowing 8 runs on 13 hits in a 5-inning loss. Dee Gordon (LGM) had a hit and an error.
