Davis struck out 2 in a scoreless inning. Carlos Santana (FDD) had a 3-run triple — for real — and tacked on a single, a run and a walk.

DUDS: Starling Marte (SG) was hit by a pitch, was caught stealing and left the game. Felipe "Vazquez" (R) allowed 1 run and recorded 1 out. Gregory Polanco (M) walked and erred. Any other Pirates want to make this list? Elsewhere, Jose Peraza (SG) went 0 for 5 and committed an error.
