STUDS: The doubleheader between the Marlins and Nationals was good for a few players: Ryan Zimmerman (Test. Braun) homered and drove in 3 runs on the day; Christian Yelich (PYB) homered and doubled twice; Denard Span (PYB) had 2 hits and drove in 3 runs; Giancarlo Stanton (Fish) homered, doubled and drove in 3 runs. Elsewhere, Andrelton Simmons (Test. Braun) had 2 homers and 3 RBIs. Freddie Freeman (Misfits) had a homer, 2 singles and 2 RBIs. Jay Bruce (Gonzo) doubled and drove in 4 runs. Norichika Aoki (Gonzo) had a double, a single, an RBI and scored 3 runs. Ace closers Craig Kimbrel (LGM) and Kenley Jansen (Muumuu) had 3-strikeout saves. Gerardo Parra (Arb. Loser) had a double, 2 singles, 2 runs and 2 RBIs. Julio Teheran (Test. Braun) was the day's pitching star, allowing 1 run and striking out 7 in a 6-inning win as the Braves clinched the NL East.

DUDS: Ryan Hanigan (Test. Braun) and Garrett Jones (Fish) completed no-point weeks despite playing nearly every day. Starlin Castro (SSS) had an RBI and an error. Will Venable (Muumuu) had a stolen base and an error.
