Playoffs Week 2: Thursday's Roundup

Dodgers fans are always happy when Dee slides in feet first.
Studs: Stephen Strasburg (DZ) - that enigma wrapped in a goatee - dominated the Mets over 7 innings, striking out 8 and allowing no earned runs in a win. He was the only FBLG pitcher to earn a win Thursday. Kenley Jansen (RMH) allowed 3 hits but also struck out 4 in a 1.1-inning save. Dee Gordon managed to post 9 points without an RBI or extra-base hit - he had 3 singles, 2 steals and scored 4 times.

Duds: No one dudded it up on Thursday, but we do notice that the Arbitration Losers' outfield of Matt Holliday, Denard Span and David Peralta is in an ugly stretch right now, having posted 3 combined points since Monday. That's bad timing, guys.

Transaction: Danger Zaun places SP Homer Bailey on the DL and activates SP Henderson Alvarez from the DL.
