Studs: Ervin Santana (Rookies) fanned 9 and allowed 2 runs in a 6-inning victory. Ian Kennedy (PYB) struck out 8 and allowed 3 runs in a 6-inning win.
Duds: Doubleheaders are a good opportunity to rack up the points — unless you play for the 2014 Diamondbacks, apparently. David Peralta (AL) went 0 for 10 with 5 Ks and an error. Aaron Hill (DZ) went 0 for 3 with an RBI and an error, Mark Trumbo (Tanana) went 1 for 5 with a run, but he committed an error and was caught stealing. Kyle Lohse (Rookies) gave up 4 runs on 7 hits in a 3-inning loss. Khris Davis (DZ) went 1 for 4 with an error, but at least he didn't strike out.
