Anyway, chances are good that Freddy Galvis mucked up this play.

Studs: Andrew McCutchen (Rookies) doubled, homered and drove in 4. Justin Upton (R21) homered twice and drove in 3.

Duds: Freddy Galvis (Rookies) developed a baseball allergy, going 0-5 with a whiff and two errors. Jimmy Nelson developed a strike zone allergy, walking an amazing 8 batters in a 3.1-inning loss. He allowed 5 earned runs and struck out 4, also uncorking a wild pitch.
