Week 10: Tuesday's Roundup

HEADS UP! A Rookies infielder is throwing the ball.
Studs: Josh Harrison (R21) only played in one game of a doubleheader but made it count, tripling, singling twice, stealing a base and scoring 2 runs. Paul Goldschmidt (GH) had a homer, a double, 2 runs and 2 RBIs. Zach Greinke (AL) tossed a shutout but barely made this list due to his 2 strikeouts. Pitching to contact for $35 million a year, eh, Zach? Chris Carter (Rookies) hit 2 homers and drove in all 5 Brewers runs. Mark Melancon (Rookies) saved both games of a doubleheader, notching 4 strikeouts. Anthony Rendon (LGM) had a homer, a double and 3 RBIs.

Duds: Santiago Casilla (R21) allowed 2 runs and struck out 2 in 1.1 innings, taking the loss. Cesar Hernandez (GH) went 0-for-3 with an error. Brandon Phillips (Rookies) had a single and a run but made 2 errors. Jonathan Villar (Rookies) was 0-for-4 with 2 whiffs and an error. Eugenio Suarez (Rookies) doubled and scored and made 2 errors. Yes, the entire Rookies infield was either a Stud or a Dud yesterday. They combined for 2 homers and five errors.
