Studs: Corey Seager (LY) hit 3 homers but scored only 12 points because the Dodgers couldn't get anyone on base for him. Drew Pomeranz (R21) got the win and struck out 8 in 7 shutout innings as the Rockies entered "road mode." Eugenio Suarez (R) homered, singled twice, drove in 2 and scored twice. John Lackey (LGM) got the win and fanned 9 in 6.2 shutout innings. Noah Syndergaard (HE) singled and struck out 9 while allowing 2 runs in a 7-inning win, but he also made an error.

Duds: Jimmy Nelson (PYB) gave up 6 runs and whiffed only 1 in a 4-inning loss. Trevor Rosenthal (HE) threw 18 pitches, and only 6 found the strike zone. All 3 men he walked came around to score. Francisco Liriano (R21) got knocked around to the tune of 10 hits and 7 runs — 6 earned — with 2 Ks in a 3.1-inning loss. Yangervis Solarte (GH) went 0 for 3 with an error. Chris Owings (LY) went 0 for 2 with an error. Gio Gonzalez (AL) cut off his glorious mane. Tragic.
