Zack Greinke got the win and fanned 11 in 7 shutout innings. That's a combined 52 points. Coors Field helped Eugenio Suarez (R) break out of his slump. He homered twice, doubled, drove in 4 and scored 3 runs. Jay Bruce (AL) had an RBI triple and an RBI double, and scored. Kyle Hendricks (LGM) struck out 6 and allowed 2 runs in an 8-inning win. Jon Jay (PYB) went 5 for 6 with a double, 2 runs and 2 RBIs as the Padres scored 13 runs ... and lost.
Duds: Ender Inciarte (M) and Jean Segura (PYB) each went 0 for 4 with an error.
