Studs: Max Scherzer (R) dominated the LOLMets, striking out 10 and allowing 1 run in an 8-inning victory. Charlie Blackmon (BM) tripled, doubled, scored twice and drove in a run. Josh Bell (M) homered, tripled, drove in 3 and scored twice. D.J. LeMahieu (AL) went 4 for 4 with a double, 2 runs, 2 RBIs, a walk and a steal. Carlos Martinez (AL) struck out 8 and allowed 1 run in a 6-inning win.
Duds: Yoenis Cespedes (Q) proved that you can't spell "Cespedes" without a couple of E's; he went hitless and committed 2 errors. Corey Seager (Q) walked and was caught stealing. Freddy Galvis (BM) went hitless and committed an error. Jeff Samardzija (PYB) allowed 8 runs and fanned 4 in a 6-inning loss.
