Studs: Gio Gonzalez (BM) struck out 5 and allowed 2 runs in a 7-inning win. Charlie Blackmon (BM) tripled, singled, scored 3 runs and walked twice. Daniel Murphy (FF) tripled, singled twice, drove in 2 and scored. Nolan Arenado (PYB) cracked 3 doubles, drove in 4 and scored twice. D.J. LeMahieu (AL) singled 4 times, drove in 2 and scored 3 runs. He wasn't perfect, though — he was caught stealing. Brandon Crawford (AL) was a triple short of a cycle and drove in 3.
Duds: Rich Hill (PM) allowed 7 runs and fanned 4 in a 4-inning loss. Seung-Hwan Oh (M) struck out 1 in 1 inning but allowed 2 runs and took the loss.
