Week 14: Saturday Roundup

How bad are the Padres? Wil Myers went deep 3 times, and his team still lost by 15 runs.
This is what Jake Arrieta looked like when he pitched
for some crummy team in the aptly named Junior Circuit.
STUDS: Wil Myers (FF) homered 3 times, drove in 4 and walked — in a game his team lost 20-5. Javier Baez (FF) went 4 for 5 with a homer, 2 RBIs and a steal. Paul Goldschmidt (CB) hit a 3-run homer, singled, scored twice and walked. Anibal Sanchez (M) struck out 8 and allowed 1 run in a 6.2-inning win. David Peralta (R) went 5 for 6 with a double, 3 runs and 3 RBIs. Freddie Freeman (R) was a homer short of a cycle, scored twice and walked. Eugenio Suarez (R) hit a 3-run homer, singled and walked twice. Ross Stripling (SG) fanned 7 and allowed 1 run in a 6-inning win. Jake Arrieta (BM) made this list for the first time in months by striking out 8 and allowing 2 runs in a 7-inning win.

DUDS: Tyson "Diana" Ross (M) got absolutely blown up by the Diamondbacks. Ross allowed 8 runs and fanned 2 in a 2-inning loss. Jose Peraza (SG) walked, stole a base and erred. Chris Taylor (FDD) went 0-fer with an error.
