STUDS: Mike Moustakas (WLB) homered, doubled, scored twice and drove in 2. Christian Yelich (HG) homered, singled twice, scored twice, walked and stole a base. Robbie Ray (R) struck out 11 in 5.2 shutout innings. Cesar Hernandez (M) was a triple shy of the cycle and drove in 3. Kyle Hendricks (PM) tossed 8 shutout innings with 7 strikeouts. Max Muncy (CB) - that funky Muncy - homered, singled twice, scored twice, drove in 2 and stole a base. Brandon Woodruff (CB) struck out 9 and allowed 1 run in a 6-inning win.
DUDS: Matt Carpenter (HG) went 0-fer with an error, as did Anthony Rendon (YA) and Robinson Cano (LCL). Paul DeJong (PM) walked and erred. Mike Foltynewicz (CB) got roughed up by the Dodgers, striking out 2 and allowing 5 runs in a 6-inning loss.
