STUDS: Stephen Strasburg (CB) continued his dominance, striking out 11 and allowing 2 runs in a 7-inning win THAT THE NATS BULLPEN TOTALLY DIDN'T BLOW. Sure, their "setup man" got a "hold" for "only allowing 2 runs" but they kept it together somehow. Michael Conforto (WLB) hit a grand slam and added an extra walk and RBI. Steven Matz (LCL) struck out 6 and allowed 2 runs in a 6-inning win. Howie Kendrick (YA) was a triple shy of the cycle and scored twice.
DUDS: Christian Walker (WLB) went 0-fer with an error. Trevor Story (WLB) walked, scored and erred. Willson Contreras (LCL) made ANOTHER error - that's 8 in 43 starts for WillsonEEEEEE. Steven Duggar (LCL) also went 0-fer with an error. Jon Lester (LCL) continued his downward slide, striking out 3 and allowing 7 runs in a 5.2-inning loss.
