STUDS: Alex Verdugo (FF) homered, singled, walked, scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Felipe "Vazquez" (FF) struck out 4 in a 2-inning win. Anibal Sanchez (PM) struck out 8 and allowed 1 run in a 6-inning win. Joey Votto (AL) had 4 singles, a walk, 2 runs, a steal and an RBI. Max Muncy (CB) had a homer, single, walk and 5 RBIs. Nolan Arenado (R) had a homer, 2 doubles, a single, 2 runs and 2 RBIs.

DUDS: Hyun-Jin Ryu (HG) proved even great pitchers can get roughed up in Denver, allowing 7 runs and striking out 4 in a 4-inning loss. Offer-med Rosario (FF) went 0-fer with an error. Trea Turner (CB) went 0-fer with an error. Daniel Murphy (WLB) had 2 singles, an RBI and 2 errors. Cole Hamels (YA) allowed 1 run and struck out 1 in a 1-inning loss before going on the IL.
