Joe Musgrove (FF) struck out 5 in 6 shutout innings to earn the win. Carson Kelly (CB) homered, doubled, scored twice and drove in 2. Max Muncy (CB) had 2 homers, a double, 3 runs, 3 RBIs, a walk and an error. Charlie Blackmon (CB) was a homer shy of a cycle and drove in 2. Starling Marte (CB) had a homer, single, RBI, steal and 3 runs.
DUDS: Pete Alonso (HG) went 0-fer with an error. Edwin Diaz (M) allowed 5 runs and struck out 1 in a 0.1-inning blown save/loss/disaster. The aforementioned Hector Neris (WLB allowed 3 runs in a 0.1-inning blown save.
