Week 13: Sunday Roundup

Come on, pal. Keep those brushback pitches below the shoulders. We don't need to be ending careers here.
Tyson Ross struck out just as many batters
as this other famous Ross.
STUDS: Mike Foltynewicz (PYB) continued his strong season, striking out 9 and not allowing a run in a 5-inning win. Matt Kemp (FF) drove in 4 and was a triple short of a cycle. Jose Peraza (SG) hit a grand slam, doubled and scored twice. Nick Pivetta (FDD) rebounded from his Friday implosion by picking up a vulture win in relief. He struck out 1 in 1 inning.

DUDS: Zack Godley (FDD) might have hurled his way to the unemployment line by allowing 7 runs in a 4-inning loss to the Giants. Godley struck out 5. Mark Melancon (FF) allowed a run in 0.2 inning. Raisel Iglesias (PM) allowed 2 runs and struck out 1 in 1 inning. Rhys Hoskins (CB) went 0 for 4 with a walk, an RBI, 3 Ks and an error. That's a creative -0.5. Tyson Ross (M) allowed 7 runs and ... wait a second ... he allowed 3 homers and 7 runs in a 5-inning loss and didn't strike anyone out? That might be acceptable if you're a lefty who can't crack 90 on the radar gun, but ... oh, he's a Padre. Never mind, then.
