Week 14: Thursday Roundup

Days like this are why fantasy owners are willing to put up with Trea Turner's usual inability to hit with men on base.
Does this blog reference legendary chubster
Ronnie Belliard? You'd better believe it.
STUDS: The Nationals came back from a 9-run deficit and ended up beating Miami 14-12. Still, the Nats had only 1 Stud because Trea Turner was hogging all the glory. Turner homered twice, singled, scored 3 runs and drove in a whopping 8 runs. Collecting 8 RBIs from the leadoff spot is something few men have done; somehow, that list includes tubby middle infielder Ronnie Belliard. Brian "Marlin" Anderson (FDD) homered, doubled, drove in 3 and scored twice. Justin Bour (FF) duplicated his teammate's numbers and tacked on a walk. Ketel Marte (BM) homered, doubled, drove in 2 and scored twice.

DUDS: Anthony Rendon (PYB) went 0-fer with an error, meaning he posted a -2 on a day in which his team won 14-12. Nice work, Tony. Johnny Cueto celebrated his return to the lineup by laying an egg — figuratively, not literally. Cueto allowed 5 runs and struck out 2 in a 5-inning loss. Ryan Braun (BM) was caught stealing, which is better than the other thing he could have been caught doing. Max Fried (SG) allowed 4 runs and struck out 1 in a 3-inning loss before landing on the DL with a blister.
