Gang, we're suggesting a rule change for how free agents are acquired.
The
current setup is a first-come, first-served system. In other words, if
multiple teams wanted to pick up Old Hoss Radbourn as a free agent in
the same week, Radbourn would be awarded to the owner who sent the email
first.
We're proposing that players instead would
be awarded based on overall standings as of Monday morning each week.
Like a real waiver system, in other words. So if three teams try to acquire Radbourn, he would go to the team with the fewest points.
And no, Reid, you can't actually put in a claim for Radbourn.
