Week 18: Tuesday's report

How much money could you have won if you had bet that this man's
team would be the only one with a .600 winning percentage on trade
deadline day? A doubleheader sweep of the Cards in the midst of a
5-game series has the Pirates on top of the NL Central and baseball.

STUDS:  Freddie Freeman (Misfits) walloped 2 homers, scored 3 runs and drove in 4. A.J. Burnett (Muumuu) was the best starter on a day of no-decisions and losses, striking out 9 and allowing 1 run in 7 innings. Kenley Jansen (Muumuu) struck out 2 in 1 scoreless inning to earn the vulture win.  Andrew McCutchen (LGM) enjoyed his team's doubleheader sweep of the Cardinals, thank you very much. He had 3 hits, including a double and a homer, drove in 2 and scored 3 times.

DUDS: The Pirates-Cards doubleheader wasn't so kind to everyone. Matt Carpenter (PYB) went 0 for 8 with a walk. Allen Craig (AL) went 0 for 5 and is in an 0 for 22 slump. Poor guy's average is all the way down to .318! And Garrett Jones (Fish) was 0 for 3 with an error.
