Week 13: Sunday's Roundup

Yeah, Kershaw deserves to have his picture here.
But that's been true every five days for a month.
So we'll give this generally underachieving Pirate a shot.
Studs: Homer Bailey (DZ) partially redeemed his team's terrible pitching week, taking a no-hitter into the seventh and firing a 3-hit shutout with 7 strikeouts. His 21-point performance gave Danger Zaun 24 points out of 6 starts this week. Pedro Alvarez (RMH) homered, doubled and drove in 3. Clayton Kershaw (FF) polished off perhaps the best month a pitcher has ever had by striking out 13 in 7 shutout innings. Kershaw went 6-0 with 61 Ks in 44 innings in June. Marlon Byrd (FF) had 2 solo homers.

Duds: No one really earned a dud spot, so we'll just throw this out to most of the Giants and Cardinals hitters, who generally stunk up the place Sunday.

Scores

E-3 172, Rookies 139
Ryan's Rangers 189, Danger Zaun 176
Rocky Mountain High 181, Misfits 128
Fresh Fish 199, Tanana in the Tailpipe 156
